  1. J. Dwyer Says:

The new site is great and the magazine always contains a wealth of information. We keep all of our copies for reference. Just curious when a new article on energy efficency will be published? This would be extremely valuable! Thanks!

  2. Michelle Says:

Michelle responds: We are so happy you enjoy the magazine and find it useful. The current issue (May 2008) has an in-depth report on energy efficiency (p. 66). You can also read it on this site. Check PumpBlogs regularly for more information and updates on energy efficiency from an industry expert!

  3. H.Hill Says:

I am new to your publication, but let me say it’s the best I’ve ever come across in 30 years of engineering! I am a specialist in water resources and look forward to future articles on preservation.

By the way, I live in Mobile, Al. Weren’t you a sports writer at one time covering University of Alabama football?

  4. A.Satterwhite Says:

I love the new site. It’s user-friendly and easy to navigate. As a new
engineer in the field, I would be interested in more instructional
Webinars from experienced experts. I would also be interested in reading
a blog covering general issues for engineers new to the pump industry.

  5. Michelle Says:

Thanks for the great comments! Keep them coming!
In response to A. Satterwhite, continue to check pump-zone.com regularly for news about future Webinars and feel free to share any specific ideas you may have. Also, we have something in the works to meet your needs for issues concerning new pump engineers. Stay tuned for more PumpBlogs!

Glad you finally found us, H. Hill! Look for our October issue, which will focus on water/wastewater and will feature “Pumps Go Green.” Also, come see us at our booth at WEFTEC in Chicago (Oct. 18-22). And, by the way, thanks for remembering me from my days as the Alabama beat writer at The Mobile Register. You have a great memory because that was a LONG time ago!

    J. Dwyer, I also want to mention that we have another article on energy efficiency slated for our June issue. Look for “Understanding Pump Fundamentals for an Energy Efficient World,” which is the first installment in series from the Hydraulic Institute and Pump Systems Matter.

  6. David Eike Says:

The new website looks good and remains prominently bookmarked in my browser. But I miss the ability to download PDFs of articles (new and old). I had been gradually going all digital and getting away from tearing out articles from the print magazine to put in my reference file cabinet. Can you bring back those links (or help me find them if they are already there)?

  7. Alexandra Ferretti Says:

David, thank you for the compliments about the new website! If you are interested in going all digital, you might want to switch from a print to a digital edition subscription. You can make the switch from print to digital by clicking on the Subscribe link at the bottom of this page. When you subscribe to the digital edition, you can access back issues through June 2006.
