10/8/08 Can a reader help me? My propane furnace is approximately 20 years old and has been serviced each year. It has started making a loud screeching sound when fan belt comes on. Oiling the bearings/bushings has not stopped the noise. The service man said I may need a new motor. Question? Which is safer/cheaper: to replace the bushings/bearings or purchase a new motor? Thanks - raea
