FORT SMITH, Ark. (June 9, 2014) – Baldor Electric Company has promoted Greg Hewitt to mounted bearing engineering manager. In this role, he will be responsible for all mounted bearing product-related engineering and will directly manage the product development team in Greenville, South Carolina.
Hewitt, currently the supervisor of the Bearings and PTC Design group in Greenville, began his career with Baldor in 1995 as a manufacturing engineer for the Rogersville plant in Tennessee. Within Baldor, Hewitt has held various positions in manufacturing, CO engineering, and mounted bearing and PT component development engineering. Hewitt has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Clemson University and is a certified Power Lean Master.
Baldor Electric Company markets, designs and manufactures industrial electric motors, drives and mechanical power transmission products.
