Saint-Gobain PAM Wins Two Contracts in Qatar

The company will supply large-diameter pipes, fittings and valves for the country’s “security mega reservoirs.”

Derbyshire, U.K. (July 28, 2014) – Saint-Gobain PAM recently signed two contracts in Qatar with Al Jaber Engineering LLC worth a total of about 200 million euros. These contracts involve the supply of large-diameter pipes, fittings and valves. The products will be mainly manufactured in France.

The contracts are part of the "security mega reservoirs" project managed by Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa), which aims to provide the country with a seven-day emergency supply of drinking water.

Saint-Gobain designs, manufactures and distributes building and high-performance materials, providing solutions to the challenges of growth, energy efficiency and environmental protection. The company operates in 64 countries and has nearly 190,000 employees.
