ALEXANDRIA, Va. (August 4 2014) – The Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC®) offers water quality professionals quality education and training. This year’s event will take place at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, from Sept. 27 – Oct. 1, 2014. The exhibition will be open Monday, Sept. 29, Tuesday, Sept. 30, and Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Water Environment Federation (WEF) hosts the annual event.
The Pumps & Systems team will attend and exhibit (Booth 5643) at WEFTEC 2014. “Pumps & Systems has attended WEFTEC every year for more than 21 years,” Editor Michelle Segrest said. “We wouldn’t miss it. WEFTEC provides the perfect opportunity to network with water and wastewater professionals from all over the world. It is a great mix of manufacturers and end users and always proves to be beneficial in our ability to find relevant content for our readers.”
Recently, WEF announced 12 members as the 2014 WEF Fellows recipients. This designation recognizes members’ achievements, stature, and contributions in the water profession.
“These are some of the finest water quality professionals in action today,” said WEF Executive Director Eileen O’Neill. “The Fellows designation recognizes the level of their impact on our profession and its ability to affect public health and the environment.”
WEF Fellows are recognized in different areas of expertise including, but not limited to, design, education, operations, regulation, research, utility management and leadership. They will be recognized during WEFTEC 2014.
