FDrexler Assuming all impeller diameters are the same, each stage provides the same amount of head, with the possible exception of the 1st stage, which can be slightly less. If a 4 stage pump produces 100FT, then each stage provides 25FT. This does require that a spool piece (pipe) is installed to redirect the liquid around the diffuser and where the impeller use to be. Efficiency is essentially unchanged.
uum I want know about the effect from destaging pump? can you explain with equation from afinity or whatever
I found, that the pump was repaired on my workshop have 4 impeller but in technical drawing, this pump consist of 7 impeller. Thanks
