About the Facilitators
Kevin Tory is senior sales manager, North, Central & South America, Low Voltage Inverters, for Hitachi America Limited. With more than 20 years of inverter experience, Tory has performed multiple roles in the inverter market, including field service, application engineering, product line management, business development and sales management. His training and education stems from 20 years in the U.S. Navy submarine service where he earned an upper division baccalaureate in atomic physics and nuclear technology, industrial management and electrical circuitry. A graduate of Leadership and Management Education and Training (LMET) for Senior Enlisted, his background of technical schools includes nuclear power plant operation, generators and regulators, electrical engineering technology, stepper motor and servo technology. His last years in the Navy were spent at MOTU11 in Long Beach, Calif., where he was an instructor for Servo and Stepper Motor navigation and weapons equipment.
Brian Daschner is CEO, COO of Hydroflo Pumps USA, Inc., Chod Industries, LTD., CTU Trading Company. With more than 32 years in the turbine pump business, Daschner started selling irrigation pumps in 1978 and purchased his first irrigation pump installation and repair business in 1980. He later worked for Fairbanks Morse for five years in the 1980s as a regional manager, became a licensed Texas Irrigator in 1989 and started Hydroflo Pumps in 1998. Now with more than13 years in the industrial, municipal and irrigation markets, Hydroflo has become a leader in vertical and submersible turbine pump engineering.
