This webinar will describe the benefits of TURBOdesign Suite, an innovative design system that allows for clean-sheet to 3D performance analysis of complete pump stages. It offers a robust design system that will increase performance and reduce design times. The system incorporates a unique 3D inverse design approach that allows for higher efficiency and better suction performance than traditional design methods. The webinar will demonstrate all aspects of the system, which includes a meanline sizing tool, 3D blade design and 3D Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis. Prof. Mehrdad Zangeneh from Advanced Design Technology, Ltd.
Mehrdad Zangeneh is Professor of Thermofluids at University College London and Founding Director of Advanced Design Technology, Ltd. For the past 26 years has been involved in development of advanced turbomachinery design codes. His research has resulted in important breakthroughs in turbomachinery and marine propulsor design. The impact of his work has been covered by articles in the New Scientist and Business Week Magazines.

Dr. Judy Busby from TURBOdesign Technology, Inc.
Dr. Busby has worked in both research and manufacturing environments. She has worked on development of CFD tools for multi-stage, turbomachinery analysis and modeling. She has extensive experience in applying CFD to multi-stage axial compressors and turbines, low-pressure military fans, and centrifugal compressors, turbines and pumps. Dr. Busby understands the trades between aero/hydrodynamic performance and overall cost/manufacturability of her designs.
