(Jan. 27, 2012) - Singer Valve appointed Mark Gimson as the new business bevelopment & marketing manager.  Gimson is responsible for strategic development in new markets, launching of new products and overall marketing efforts worldwide.  “Mark has worked with Singer Valve since 2002.  His in-depth knowledge of our products and deep understanding of customer needs will be invaluable in developing our messaging and strategy as we expand globally”, said Brad Clarke, VP of Sales & Marketing for Singer Valve.

Gimson has worked in the valve industry for 35 years, in many different parts of the world and has worked with consultants, reps and manufacturers.  He studied Mechanical Engineering in the UK as well as Marketing Management at the University of British Columbia.  Gimsons’ global, technical, sales and marketing experience along with his previous success with the company, make him the best fit for this position.  Singer Valve is poised to enter new markets and add to its product line in 2012.
