BJERRINGBRO, Denmark - Grundfos has named Markus Brandstetter as its new chief technology officer (CTO). Brandstetter will take up his new position on Feb. 1, 2020, and will relocate to a home near Bjerringbro in the coming months.

An experienced technology leader and champion of digitalization, Brandstetter brings significant experience from senior roles in large industrial companies.

Brandstetter is coming to Grundfos from Bosch Buildings and Energy business sector, heading the operational strategy development with special focus on IoT and service-oriented business strategy. As CTO of the large energy supply solutions and commercial heating he has been innovating and transforming the System Solution Business at Bosch Thermotechnology. Markus has previously been the CEO at Bosch Industrial Boilers.

Brandstetter has held various other leadership positions within international groups like Siemens, Alcatel, and Bosch, receiving awards along the way for building and leading top-performing multinational teams.

As Grundfos new CTO, he will be the executive in charge of pioneering innovations that serves our customers all over the world.
